Overweight is not a sign of good health. Risks of overweight lead to several health complications. Overweight and obesity go together. It is said obese parents have obese children. It is worth to note that obesity doubles mortality rate and overweight leads to earlier death. Research says that 2/3 of such people have the conditions like hypertension, diabetes, heart problems and other obesity related conditions. An overweight child develops heart diseases earlier than adults do.

Causes of Overweight and Obesity:
Poor food: You health depends on what you eat. It doesn’t matter with how much you eat. Poor foods contain higher percentage of calories from fat and refined carbohydrates. They are known as low nutrient foods. They make a favourable cellular environment for diseases.
Less physical activities: Your lifestyle may be the reason. If you do an office job and do only desk works most time of the day, your body and abdominal fat mass increases.
Genetic reason: Obese parents have obese children. Genetic reason may be the cause for overweight and obesity.
In short, obesity or overweight is the result of little physical activities and high caloric low nutrient diet. On the other hand, you are obese or overweight if you eat more oil, refined carbos, low fiber foods and live a sedimentary lifestyle.
You should change the type of your foods and living style. Drugs don’t help. They may bring toxic effects and side effects to your body. Eat large amount of good foods. Live with a high nutrient diet style. It’s the key to success. Even though the problem relates to the genetic role, right food and physical activities (exercises) can minimise it.
