Today, there are lots of refined foods and animal products easily available around us. They are harmful to our health. Refined sugar makes us malnourished and leads to cancer and heart attacks. The nutrient value of the fruits and drinks is lost in the processing stage. So, processed foods and drinks contain just a little nutrient value. Avoid processed foods and fruit juices as far as possible. Try to replace them with fresh fruits and vegetables. A healthy food is the food closer to the natural state. A fresh whole fruit contains fiber and many nutrients. But, if you drink it in the form of juice, most of fiber and nutrients were lost during the juicing process.
Reduce fat intake. Fat (like butter) is an appetite stimulant. The more you eat it, the more you feel hungry. Refined carbohydrates and fat promote fat accumulation in our body. So, we become obese and overweight. An overweight person creates more insulin demand in his body than a lean person. Higher insulin promotes a more fatty body. It is worth to note that refined fat (oil) and refined carbohydrate (sugar) generate more fat storing hormones.
As you might know, oil is 100% fat. It contains approximately 9 calories/gram. As you eat oil, it stores on your hip and waist as original.
Which foods promote good health and weight loss?
Raw fruits and vegetables give us the highest protection against cancer and other health problems. Oils are difficult for weight loss. Use raw seeds and nuts instead of oil. Huge salads and 4 fresh fruits are recommended daily.
Most vitamins are heat sensitive. When cooked, most of vitamins and minerals are lost. So, eating raw fruits and vegetables is good and promotes weight loss and lowers blood pressure effortlessly. Above all, fiber is a very important ingredient in your daily diet. Include fiber rich foods like fruits, vegetables and beans in your diet. But meat, dairy foods and refined grains have a little or no content of fiber. By saying so, I don’t mean fiber extracts, what I mean is the whole fruits and vegetables rich in fiber from the nature.
